The Box started in 2006 with humble beginnings from the founder's bedroom in the Springs in Dubai to the regions leading storage and moving provider recognized in position 72 on the DubaiSME 100 list with 24 storage facilities in the region

The Box still maintains the same founding principles and values today as it has when it first started and continuing to grow regionally with a fantastic team and delivering outstanding service.

The idea came through by fulfilling a need of a customer who had a specific issue with managing their space requirements. The curiosity for finding a solution was the main purpose the business was founded along with the joy of serving customers. In the beginning it was just the founder Wadih running around assisting customers, delivering packages and managing the back office administration and door to door selling.

Cash flow was limited in the start-up days and organically grew to a +30 people organization at the office along with +40 security guards, truck drivers and handling crew. The Box has a clearly defined mission and vision along with our 10 committable core values. The Box Self Storage is a DubaiSME 100 company that is synonymous with ‘storage Dubai’, being the city/region’s preferred storage and moving provider who also supplies packaging material like boxes, bubble roll, locks and tape.
